Youth Adventure Camp
Sea to Sky Stables is pleased to announce our Summer Youth Program. Our Staff is hand picked for their experience and friendly.
We are very excited about our Dude Ranch Adventure Camp this summer. Campers arrive on Sunday at 3:00 pm and stay until Thursday at 1:00 pm.

DAY ONE
On arrival the campers are greeted with a warm western welcome and introduced to their counselors. Our counselors are energetic, fun and outgoing, they want to be here. The campers are then escorted to their Chuck Wagon Bunkhouses.
Each Bunkhouse sleeps 12 campers per Wagon. They are nestled in a circle surrounding a large fire pit, next to the World’s Largest Wooden Teepee. They are then delegated a bunk for their stay, where they can get settled in.
We then do a tour of the facilities; go over guidelines and safety.
The Campers are introduced to the horses and a tour of the Ranch. Then we go back to the cookhouse for home cooking at its best!
After supper each camper helps with some chores, and then we head over to help feed the herd of horses. In the evening the campers will have a chance to win some great prizes with our Bingo, we’ll have a small Bon-fire and the campers can get to know each other better.
DAY TWO
Breakfast is served between 8:00 and 9:00 am. The campers are then given their daily chores.
This morning we will be heading over to the arena where the campers will learn about grooming, saddle cleaning and learning about the horse from the ground up.
Lunch will be served at noon. The campers will be given a lesson in the arena on proper horse etiquette. As well as the daily trail ride.
Each camper will then have a chance to ask questions about riding and horses. After supper each camper will then help with the ranch chores including feeding. In the evening we will play board games with their counselors as well as a Bon-fire and sing-a-long complete with song sheets.
Snacks will be provided.
DAY THREE
Breakfast is served between 8:00 and 9:00 am then there are lessons in the arena where each camper, depending on the experience of the rider, will participate in barrel racing, bareback riding and pole bending. We will then do some western crafts with counselors.
Then they will be given lunch and daily chores. . We will then have another lesson or guided trail ride.
Supper will be served at about 5pm. Some free time will be given in the evening we will help with the horses, this includes feeding, unsaddleing and brushing.
We will then have another Bon-fire and tell spooky tales. Snack will be provided.
DAY FOUR
Breakfast is served between 8:00 and 9:00 am We will go over safety and each camper will be instructed on horse etiquette and learn more about the horses. Lunch will be served after our duties.
We will head out on our adventure trail ride and arena traing depending on riding levels. After every one has finished taken care of the horses will all go on an exciting wagon ride.
Returning from the wagon ride we will have another big game of Bingo. We will have another Bon-fire complete with smores.
DAY FIVE
Breakfast is served between 8:00 and 9:00 am. After completing our daily horse chores campers will get ready for games day in the arena and get the horses ready and have a chance for a practice run. Lunch will be served when you arrive back at the cookhouse
The campers are then given some spare time to take all the pictures they want and are given their Sea to Sky Adventure Camp T-Shirt. The campers will then pack and get ready to go home!
Campers are to be picked up at 1:00 pm. where parents can bring a camera for pictures of their campers accomplishments with a games day in the arena on horseback starting at 1:00pm.
**All activities are subject to change depending on the comfort of the camper.
Preparing for Camp - Please bring these items
- Insect Reppelent
- 3 pairs of long pants, top, underwear, etc.
- Barn boots(need to have a small heel. NO RUNNERS)
- Sleeping bag and pillow
- Bathroom items - soap, towel, shampoo, toothbrush, etc.
- Sleep wear
- Rain Clothing (just in case..becuase you never know)
