Eagle Viewing
Every winter from October to March approximately 3000 bald eagles arrive in the Brackendale area of Squamish BC Canada to feed on spawning salmon in the Squamish, Cheakamus and Mamquam Rivers.

A horseback tour is a unique way to view these magnificent birds of prey and gain fabulous photo opportunities. The eagles are so accustomed to seeing the horses in the pasture the rider is almost invisible at distance that you can get as close as 20 feet to the eagles.

Imagine watching the eagle’s only feet away fight over a salmon and capturing that incredible sight on film. You can sometimes see up to 50 eagles perches in trees, on gravel bars or swooping down for a salmon.

Squamish / Brackendale BC Canada has had the highest count of Eagles in North America. In 1994 we had the highest record count of over 3700 bald Eagles.

We also invite you back to our heated viewing area to get a birds eye view. And sip on a hot beverage.
